You want results, how about a total engine pulley upgrade! The Revo Pulley Kit S2 includes the crank, water, alternator and two idler pulleys. Shave the weight and gain the throttle response through the reduced rotational mass. Gain the curb appeal of crafted billet aluminum aluminum pulleys on the front of your FA20. We took every pulley into consideration here, anywhere we saw a potential to shed weight we saw an opportunity to design a high performance pulley kit.

BETTER MATERIAL

We specifically chose an aircraft grade 6061 T6 aluminum because of its tensile strength and use U.S.A. milled aluminum only.



BETTER PROCESS

The Revo crank pulley is precisely crafted using state of the art cnc milling and turning centers. The manufacturing is done in house because we can accurately and consistently control our product.







FREE SPINNING

The Revo idler pulleys feature a high quality double sealed radial ball bearing which is pressed in from the back and held in place with a stainless steel retaining ring. These are built for the long haul.




BEARING SHIELD

We didn't like the factory dust shield either, so we machined an aluminum shield to cover the bearing and act as a washer for the pulley bolt.









DOWN TO THE FINISH

We've meticulously refined how our parts are anodized to ensure the best anti-corrosive and tarnishing properties. The brilliance of our black, silver and red finishes can be seen and will be easy to maintain. Our Apex R is post machined, not laser engraved or pad printed, because its what we do best.









CAN I REPLACE THE CRANK PULLEY HARMONIC BALANCER?

The harmonic balancer has the sole responsibility to retard or lessen the resonant frequencies that occur during the normal operation of any internal combustion motor. The crank is like a tuning fork for musicians; when the firing cycle hits each cylinder, its like a flick to the tuning fork. So when you see the term "harmonic", it is a literal description of what is occurring to your crank. Your crank is actually flexible, believe it or not, if it wasn't, your engine wouldn't last more then 10,000 miles. It flexes on a microscopic level to absorb the explosion from each cylinder, this flex is precisely what creates an engine's natural frequency. Some vehicle's frequencies are more violent then others due to the architectural layout of the cylinders. For example, a V6 or V8 will have higher resonance because the downward thrust of each cylinder travels through the center-line of the crank in a non-linear pattern; this actually has the ability to amplify the frequency, depending on your RPM. Compare this to an I6 or I4 and you reduce the harmonics due to the linear pulse of the cylinders approach the crank from a single direction. Finally the Flat-4, with force traveling through the crank to opposing cylinders, the frequency is reduced by its own operation. We're not saying that the frequency is completely eliminated! We're saying that of all the engine formats available, a flat-4 is the best candidate for a lightened crank pulley.

    Talk about a weight difference. After taking off the stock crank pulley, I held and compared it to the Revo Crank Pulley. It was much lighter. The construction of the pulleys are absolutely flawless. I had ordered the blue set and it looks absolutely gorgeous on my Satin White Pearl BRZ. The install was very quick and easy. It took only an 45 mins for all the pulleys. I didn't have to worry about the Stock intake, as I replaced and have a lot of room to work with.

    Altogether, I love it. Products are always pristine. Hope to see other performance parts like these come out. (Catted UEL header xD)

    I bought the S2 set in August 2013 and have been driving around with them for the past 4 months. The main thing you notice with the pulleys installed is a much more "willing" engine. Starting from stops requires less throttle input and the engine seems happier below 2000rpms, this is great for city driving. While moving, it just feels like the car lost a bit of weight, not a lot, but it is a change you can perceive and more than you think based on the listed weight loss. The best part though, rev-matching. "Zing" is the best way to describe it. The BRZ is a fun car, and this set only adds to the occasion!

    These pulleys ooze quality and meticulous detailing, and I have no doubts they will outlast their oem equivalents. I'm looking forward to having more Raceseng parts in the future!
